An elegy, in which the author bewails the departure of two learned friends, Mistress Margaret Scallon and Dr. Anna Phelan, and by occasion foretells the ruin of the University / by W P D <sic> 1949.

Three volumes of Dunn's elegy were hand bound and presented to Dr. Dunn, Dr. Phelan and Miss Scallon at a retirement tea. The title leaf and each of the 17 leaves was hand lettered and illuminated by a different member of the English Dept. A list of the illuminators and a clipping are included with the volume.
